Favreau and Filoni Drop Ashoka and Mando Reveals
After walking onto the stage and exchanging pleasantries with Kennedy, Filioni gets straight into the progress of the in-production “Ashoka” series:
“In my opinion, everything is going great. We are super-fortunate to have Rosario Dawson fronting this. She is just everything I could hope for her to be.”
After confirming a return for fan-favorite Mandalorian Bo-Katan, the audience was shown a sneak peek at the Mandalorian Season 3. Whilst footage hasn’t leaked online, nor has the official sneak peek been released, Star Wars Explained gives us all a detailed breakdown alongside some great speculation:
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Details Revealed
In what sounds like a reaction to Netflix’s stranger things, Skeleton Crew follows a group of four kids lost in space trying to find their way home. We know that Jude Law will take up a leading role and will debut sometime in 2023. Jon Watt and Chris Ford also went on record to tell the audience that it isn’t a kid’s show either, which will be interesting.
John Williams And Pacific Symphony Orchestra Perform Kenobi Theme Live
After a brief reflection of John William’s career, he was introduced to celebrate his 90th birthday by conducting the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in their first live performance of the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show.
Indiana Jones Is Back in 2023
Afterward, Williams took the microphone to hype up the audience a little further:
“I know that this is Star Wars Celebration. Here’s a little piece that is not Star Wars, but you might know it,”
As the Indiana Jones theme played out, Harrison Ford himself alongside director James Mangold and Producer Frank Marshal took to the stage. Ford didn’t give anything away, but he again got fans riled up by stating:
“We have almost completed the next Indiana Jones film, featuring the music of John Williams. I am really proud of the movie that we made. So I’ll be seeing you around campus.”

This interview had to happen. We found out about Hayden watching Clone Wars and Rebels get a feel for Darth Vader ten years after Revenge of the Sith. It’s also quite clear how happy Ewan and Hayden are playing these roles again, including them commenting on the warmth they now feel from the fans over 20 years later.
