Sony expects its PS5 supply issues to continue into 2024. However, the company believes the PlayStation 5 will outsell the PlayStation 4 in its fourth year.

The PS5 came out in November 2020. Since then, supply issues have resulted in players not being able to get their hands on a console. One of the main problems is the lack of parts available in the industry, which is impacting a lot of electronic companies currently.
Intel’s CEO has claimed the shortages probably won’t improve until 2024. Now, Sony has released a business briefing which states PS5 supply issues could last for a couple more years.

In addition, the PS5 Pro could potentially be coming out in 2023. A Chinese tech company called TCL Technology claims the PS5 Pro will come out next year. However, it’s probably best if we take this news with a grain of salt until Sony confirms it in a future announcement.
